01

Scope and Australian privacy framework

This Privacy Policy describes how Alomari Tech handles personal information in connection with alomaritech.xyz, enquiries and business communications.

Alomari Tech identifies Sydney, Australia as its headquarters on this website. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) apply to Alomari Tech, we intend to manage personal information consistently with those requirements. The Privacy Act does not apply to every Australian business in every circumstance, so this statement does not represent that Alomari Tech is necessarily an APP entity for every activity.

02

Personal information we collect

The kinds of personal information we may collect depend on how you interact with us. They may include:

  • your name, work email address and company name;
  • project details, service requirements and a pricing plan you select;
  • the content of emails or other communications you send to us;
  • basic technical information generated when your browser requests website resources, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps and request data, where that information is received by us or a service provider.

Please do not send sensitive information, credentials, production secrets or regulated personal information through the general enquiry form unless we have specifically agreed on an appropriate secure method.

03

How we collect information

We generally collect information directly from you when you contact us, send an email, submit information through the website, select a plan or communicate with us about a project. We may also receive limited technical information through the normal operation and security of website infrastructure and third-party resources used by the site.

Where practical and lawful, you may browse the public website without identifying yourself. Some information is necessary if you want us to respond to a business enquiry or prepare a project discussion.

04

Why we collect, use and disclose it

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and communicate with prospective or existing clients;
  • understand project scope, technical requirements and requested services;
  • prepare proposals, quotations, statements of work or other business communications;
  • operate, maintain, secure and improve the website and our business systems;
  • keep reasonable business, accounting, security and correspondence records;
  • comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and
  • send relevant business communications where permitted by law, with an available way to opt out of direct marketing.

Alomari Tech does not currently use first-party advertising or behavioural analytics on this website.

05

Service providers and overseas handling

We may disclose or make information available to service providers where reasonably necessary for website hosting, communications, cloud infrastructure, professional advice, security or business administration. The public website also loads resources from third-party providers, including externally hosted fonts, icons and images. Those providers may receive standard network request information under their own policies.

Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where APP 8 applies, Australian privacy law places obligations on APP entities in relation to cross-border disclosures. We will take reasonable steps required by applicable law in relation to overseas disclosures and will update this policy where our regular disclosure practices materially change.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not currently set first-party advertising, personalisation or analytics cookies. It does use third-party resources delivered over the internet, so those external providers may process ordinary request information and may apply their own technologies.

For the current website-specific position and future update requirements, see the Cookie Policy.

07

Security, retention and data breaches

Where we hold personal information, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect it against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, an ongoing client or business relationship, legitimate record-keeping, dispute management or legal requirements. When information is no longer required, reasonable steps should be taken to delete or de-identify it where applicable law requires that outcome.

If the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies to Alomari Tech and an eligible data breach occurs, we will assess and respond to the incident and make notifications required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

08

Access, correction and privacy choices

Where applicable, you may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you or to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before dealing with a request, and legal exceptions may apply.

You can also ask us to stop direct marketing communications. Operational, contractual or legally required communications may still be sent where appropriate.

09

Privacy complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, email alomaritech@gmail.com with enough detail for us to understand the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will aim to acknowledge and deal with a privacy complaint within a reasonable period.

For matters covered by the Australian Privacy Act, OAIC guidance says individuals should generally complain to the organisation first and allow it a reasonable time — commonly 30 days — to respond before escalating an eligible complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

10

Children and sensitive information

This website is directed to businesses and professional users and is not designed as a service for children. We do not intentionally ask children to submit personal information through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

11

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our website, vendors, information-handling practices or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.

Privacy enquiries, access or correction requests, and complaints can be sent to alomaritech@gmail.com. Alomari Tech lists its headquarters as Sydney, Australia.
